Thanks to Rollholz's ergonomic cut, the pressure during back training is distributed to those structures that can withstand it and benefit from it. In practice, the spine softens, while the pressure on the muscles (back extensor / M. erector spinae) and connective tissue is evenly distributed.

The lower limbs can be trained on the flat sides of the cylinder as well as in the notch. In the notch, the pressure is distributed over a larger area, which results in a greater sense of comfort and supports the exercise with rolling.
